You know how I do

So there is this big holiday this weekend, St. Jonas Day. It celebrates some pagean rituals and the fact that the shortest day of the year was Friday (we had one hour of darkness). So a lot of people are gone, including Nick and Brandon, who went to the beach.

Thursday was a normal day at work. We left early to come watch the US get murdered by the refs in soccer. We went out to this club called the Broadway (Brodvejus) and that was fun because even though the music was still bad to dance to, it was at least in English.

Friday- went to work, Dave came and got the kids all crazy. It rained when we were supposed to be taking them out the second time to get rid of their energy so instead they really went crazy. And we had a little fighting incident. Tautvydas punched Martinas in the eye. Then we left early again for language lessons. We came home, went to the Independent Republic for dinner and then Gabriele and Karolis took us out to go see a festival.
They were crazy. We walked up 259 steps (21+ flights of stairs) to get up to this festival. I almost died. They had a huge bonfire and everyone was dressed up in traditional clothes dancing around it. They had a band playing music and everyone was wearing these homemade headdresses. They were made out of leaves and grass and flowers. So we stayed there for awhile then went to the club that Karolis works at. He's a promoter. The club was really nice. Its called Fashion Club and really was upscale. It had tvs in the bathroom mirrors. But no one was really there so once Karolis and Gabriele left, we left and went back to the Broadway. Got home really late, and went to bed.

Saturday- Saturday I got up at 11 to go to another festival with Betty, but something happened with the rental car and we didn't go. So I hung out with Dave and Keenan again and watched soccer and got dinner and again, went to the Broadway. Days go pretty short here when you don't really start doing anything until 4.

Sunday- Sunday I slept til 12 because I woke up feeling like crap. My throat is swollen and my head hurts. I made some toast and did abs and showered. Then I went back to bed. At 6 Dave called saying they were going to Trakai (the island castle) So I said I'd go. We met downstairs and as we were walking decided we'd rather watch the 2 very important soccer games. So we did that instead. Portugal is a dirty dirty team. I dont like them. I really wanted the Netherlands to do well. Oh well. After that game (12) I went to bed.

Monday- Day off again for St. Jonas. Im still slightly sick but I'm plannin on going to the mall to buy a new straightener. Brandon and Nick come back today then work starts up again tomorrow.
